‘GO CMM’ – Portable CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine

The Trimos C Line portable CNC CMM is designed for the workshop. Weighing just 13.5 kg it can goes wherever you need measurement. No longer are you required to take the part to the CMM, the C Line portable CMM can be deployed directly on the manufacturing floor and at the manufacturing process.

The entry level C3 model is delivered standard with ControlCAT software, which allows users to perform typical CMM measurements including distance, circle, plane, line, point. To take full advantage of the performance of the C4 model, the optional PC based Aberlink 3D software is offered. Other measurement software are also compatible including PolyWorks, CMM Manager and Verisurf.

4 Axis CMM

The unique 4 axis CMM configuration variant provides X, Z linear axis with a 360 degree rotational base and the 360 degree probe rotational axis.

On-board PCB provides motion control, error mapping, |++ interface and ControlCAT metrology software.

The C4 provides a unique cylindrical measuring range with diametrical range of 700 mm and 250mm of Z measuring range. Diametrical accuracy is quoted at 3 + D/100 and Linear measuring accuracy quoted at 5+ L/100.

The portable measuring system is powered by a built-in battery providing 4 hour remote operation between charges.

The C Line is an easy-to-use CNC CMM designed with the intention of lowering the training threshold needed to successfully program and operate an automatic CMM on the manufacturing floor. An optional part fixturing system completes the CMM inspection offering.
